I don’t even know how to describe how I feel right now. I am still kind of in shock. This is like when Mayweather vs. McGregor was actually signed, sealed, delivered, and the bell for the first round rang. Donald Trump and LaVar Ball going at each other is THE MOST 2017 thing possible. Two polarizing figures at the height of their powers jawing through Twitter and the media. MAGA vs. BBB along with a tonnnnn of people that don’t want to hear from either of these guys. What a beautiful spectacle! And all because of LiAngelo Ball, who went from the forgotten Ball brother to the Helen of Troy of the year’s biggest beef. Black sheep no more!
The fact The Donald tweeted this before 1 pm ET isn’t lost on me either and I truly appreciate it. My timeline is nothing but NFL on Sundays for about 12 hours straight. So the President gave us a little appetizer for the days, weeks, and months ahead of this gutter war with the biggest Baller. However I still can’t believe Trump didn’t finish that tweet with Jail Time! Easily my favorite Trump exclamation ever.
Not sure who Vegas has as the favorite. Campaign Trump was vicious because he could focus on one target at a time. But President Trump has an entire free world to rule. Meanwhile LaVar can talk the most ridiculous shit ever and all he cares about is the investors of the Big Baller Brand. Think of all the BBB shirts he can sell to the blue checkmarks that chirp Trumps every tweet? Portnoy is about to get passed by in the t-shirt game big time. HOWEVA, Lonzo’s performance so far this season has definitely taken a little bit of bloom off of the Ball name. The real winners in all this? The fans.
